Final Blog Post
With my major being human biology, I enjoyed this class because it was completely outside of the “STEM” box of what I normally study. Through researching and analyzing historically relevant topics about America, I’ve gained interest in looking into the rough parts of history. In this class I have really enjoyed the researching process and piecing together facts and ideas about a topic to discover a deeper meaning. In this course I have also discovered that it takes time to write a cohesive essay, and something that is just thrown together in the matter of hours is not as valuable as sitting with a prompt and building on ideas you have on answering them. The process of collaborative learning was very helpful because it allowed me to build ideas from my peers and see my paper in a different perspective. Advice that I have for students in future classes about blogging would be to take advantage of it in order to have a productive foundation or start your paper. Using what I have pick...
